ok everybody, this was the book that i was talking about. its called 'a million little pieces'. this is a true story. 'a million little pieces' is about james frey's six week rehab experience. when he was 23 he woke up on a plane and found out that his four front teeth were knocked out, he had a hole in his cheek and his nose was broken. he didn't know where he was headed or what had happened before then. james frey was an alchoholic for then years and a crack addict for three. his family checked him into a rehab after the plane landed. he soon found out the he could either quit his addictions or died before he reached the age of 24. along the way james meets many different people, though he decided not to make any friends. he had to have caps put in for his teeth, filled cavities and have root canals all while he was given nothing to numb the pain. yes that's right people. nothing to numb the pain. he clings to a Babar book and it comforts him. all james wanted to do was to get drunk and fill himself with anything. rehab is a long and hard journey for james. no doubt that in some parts of his book he starts to bore, but nonetheless the book is really worth reading.
